I always wonder what TJ could give to the team if he has a full and healthy year. I have high hopes for him. I saw him come through in the lineup in key situations last year.
Looks like a roster full of questions heading into spring training. Who are the ones that shine in Goodyear and win a spot on the opening day roster? More importantly who are the ones that will help win games in the Big 162? So looking forward to how Tito steers the ship. We’ve been rudderless for a few years now !
Thank you for flagging Espinal. To me he should be option #1 at 3B. He was excellent in 2H, has been an all star. I expect Tito to see his value.
A healthy Friedl and Fraley (the Fro’s) would a big help. Frankly, Benson and Fairchild on the OD roster means Krall failed to improve outfield. There are much better reasonably priced outfielders out there.
I’ll be surprised if CES and Marte are on Reds OD roster. Trade them for a OF RH bat or let them mature in LV.
If Krall gets us a RH RF and a RP we could be in great place.
Still not clear how Candelario fits on this team. He needs a very good Spring. Lots of players can play 1B. He’ll have to hit! Almost impossible to trade him at that $.
